Professionals who want to become well grounded in the principles of physics, and then apply this knowledge to leading edge topics in materials and condensed matter can elect to pursue a concentration in materials and condensed matter from EPP's Applied Physics program. Courses are drawn from the curricula of Applied Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering programs. Students work with advisers to structure a program that meets their professional development needs. Please note that EPP also offers a separate Master of Materials Science and Engineering (M.M.S.E.) program.
