Technical Innovation and New Ventures

If you have been tempted to begin your own business or bring innovation to an established company, you already know that engineers and technical professionals face specific challenges. They may know in great depth the substance and value of their venture, but are less knowledgeable about how to make it a reality.

EPP's program in Technical Innovation and New Ventures gives technical people the understanding and skills they need to move their concept forward. Courses cover marketing, finance, management, and business plan development, as well as legal fundamentals. Highlights include:

  • Classes conveniently scheduled weekday evenings and Saturdays at academic centers, with a number of courses also available online
  • Courses utilizing case studies, group projects, and formal and guest lectures
  • A joint offering of EPP and the Carey Business School
  • No thesis required
